Tax credits and benefits calculator

Tax credits are a tax-free income given to households in the UK with children.  The calculator below provides you with a guide to the type and amount of benefits that you could be entitled to, all you have to do is answer a few quick questions.  This calculator is now using the new figures for the 2012-2013 tax year which apply from 6th April 2012.  You can read more about how to claim Tax Credits in our article before you start your calculations.
